Amma Universal Foundation is a scheme that provides Safety and Security coverage to BPL and applicants such as agricultural laborers, artisans, petty traders, vendors, and shop employees.
All applicants can register under this scheme. The age limit must be between 18 to 70 years. Additionally, all applicants must have a bank account in any nationalised bank.
Eligible applicants can apply for the Amma Universal Foundation online by visiting the official Amma Universal Foundation website. You will need to complete the registration form as provided on the site.
Workers can avail the benefits of this scheme by paying a nominal fee (sabhyatvam) to the labour department. There are three tiers: ₹249, ₹599, and ₹1199, with GST added to each.
